About the Role
Rocket Staffing are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee our client’s organisation’s daily business activities. This pivotal role ensures that resources are effectively managed, operational plans are implemented successfully, and long-term strategies are developed to meet company objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations leadership, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to drive performance improvements across diverse business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all operational activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Lead a team by managing performance, recruitment, and development to drive success.
• Develop and execute operational plans aligned with organisational goals.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance business procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage procurement and allocate materials and resources efficiently.
• Oversee customer support processes to maximize satisfaction.
• Monitor financial performance, review budgets, and implement profitability strategies.
• Develop and enforce policies to maintain compliance and improve operations.
• Collaborate with external partners, vendors, and global teams to optimize processes.
• Analyze data to assess performance, address challenges, and innovate solutions.
• Ensure operational excellence by designing scalable, standardised systems.
• Act as a liaison between sales and operations to enhance customer experiences.
• Manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and drive cost-effective practices.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management.
• Excellent leadership, organisational, and decision-making abilities.
• Deep understanding of industry regulations, compliance, and operational best practices.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, CRM software, and performance evaluation metrics.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated success in implementing innovative strategies to boost productivity and profitability.
