Rocket Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and proactive Facilities & Yard Operative.

Pay rate: 

£13.28 – £19.28 

Working hours: 

11:30 – 20:00 ( Monday- Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

• General yard work
• Complete Health & Safety checks and keep accurate records.
• Carry out racking inspections and assist with any repair work.
• Help maintain fire safety, first aid, and emergency systems.
• Support CCTV installation, maintenance, and cleaning.
• Manage waste collections and compactor maintenance.
• Supervise contractors on site, ensuring company procedures are followed.
• Liaise with the Facilities Management team on maintenance and repairs.
• Carry out general administrative duties, including record keeping, raising purchase orders, and maintaining maintenance and H&S documentation.

About You:

• Previous experience in a facilities or maintenance role preferred.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
• Practical, organised, and able to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible, proactive, and hands-on attitude.
