Job Title: Transport Administrator
Location: Hinckley
Salary: £27,300 per year
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to support our clients 4PL transport department.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will manage administrative tasks, ensure efficient retrieval and processing of documents, liaise with customers and hauliers, and update key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports.
Manage all PODs (Proof of Delivery) retrieval and requests.
Chase progress updates from drivers and hauliers regularly.
Prepare and update unbilled reports on a weekly basis.
Build and maintain collection & delivery KPIs.
Liaise with customers and hauliers to ensure smooth operations.
Update various platforms with timely and accurate information.
Manage spreadsheets and ensure data accuracy.
Work efficiently within a targeted environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous experience in an administrative role (transport experience preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
Good organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively over the phone in a polite and professional manner.
Experience working in a transport environment is highly desirable.
