Position: Senior Industrial Door Engineer

Location: Corby, Northamptonshire (Midlands travel required)

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Door Engineer on behalf of our client. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance, installation, and repair of industrial doors, dock levellers, and access barriers, providing guidance and support to the engineering team while reporting to the Works Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance, installation, fault finding, and repair of industrial doors and dock systems.
• Travel to various sites across Northamptonshire and the Midlands, occasionally further.
• Liaise with clients on-site and address service needs.
• Complete administration tasks related to service calls and maintenance activities.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Assist with project management and implementation of technical standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in industrial door or loading bay systems.
• Mechanical or electrical qualifications; IPAF license preferred.
• Full UK driving license and strong time management skills.
• Leadership abilities with a team-oriented approach.
