About the Role:
We’re hiring a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to support the effective operation of a busy warehouse environment in Rugby. This vital role ensures the smooth maintenance and safety of warehouse equipment, conveyor systems, and site facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance (PPM) on conveyor systems and other warehouse equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead small-scale maintenance projects with clear objectives and timelines.
- Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and supporting a 5S culture.
- Document maintenance processes and provide training to others to foster effective practices.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain accurate and reliable equipment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer/Technician, ideally within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Knowledge of conveyor systems, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Familiarity with health and safety practices in an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Desirable:
- Forklift license and health & safety certifications (not essential but beneficial).
