HGV Trailer Technician
Location: Knottingley
Salary: £37,000 – £41,000 per year

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday

We are recruiting an experienced HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our client, a leading provider of trailer and HGV maintenance services. This role is ideal for a skilled technician looking to work in a collaborative environment that values team spirit, safety, and continuous skill development. Duties

• Inspect, service, and repair trailers to ensure safety and quality standards
• Complete compliance documentation accurately and on time
• Deliver excellent customer service while meeting specified deadlines
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols
• Represent company values and uphold professional behaviour standards

Qualifications & Requirements

• Time-served technician or relevant City & Guilds qualifications (Levels 1, 2, and 3) or equivalent experience in trailer repair
• Preferably skilled in welding and double-deck maintenance
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Ability to prioritize tasks independently and work autonomously when needed
