Job Description:
We are seeking a full-time PSV/HGV Mechanic to join our expert maintenance team for our high-demand fleet. This role is vital to maintaining our top-tier standards for safety, compliance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance, servicing, and periodic inspections on coaches and vans.
- Repairs & Diagnostics: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and system faults, specifying proper repair methods.
- Compliance & MOTs: Prepare vehicles for MOTs, adhering to both company and DVSA standards.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records in line with regulatory requirements.
- Emergency Assistance: Attend on-road breakdowns and perform vehicle road testing as needed.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Level 3 NVQ in PSV or HGV maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mechanical and electrical systems
- Desirable Skills: PSV license and welding experience.
- Proven understanding of Health and Safety regulations.
- Independent worker with initiative, strong problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude.
Work Hours & Benefits:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri) with overtime available.
