About the Role: We are assisting our client in hiring a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician I. This position is a critical role within a dynamic technical support team, offering onsite and remote IT service and troubleshooting for customers. The successful candidate will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining computer networking equipment and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver onsite technical support and service for customers.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and debug IT equipment such as desktops, laptops, and networking devices.
- Provide help desk support, including remote and desk-side assistance.
- Educate customers on support processes and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Communicate technical progress and actions with stakeholders, including sales teams and management.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Advise management on product development issues identified during customer support activities.
- Perform onsite commissioning, installation, and testing of equipment.
- Conduct equipment repairs and maintenance under contract or warranty.
- Train customers on the operation and maintenance of their equipment.
- Maintain accurate records, including service forms and customer statements.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Associate Degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of related IT hardware/software support experience.
- Proven experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Flexibility to travel to customer sites as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
