About the Role:
We are assisting our client in hiring a skilled and detail-oriented Configuration Technician I. This position focuses on delivering quality technology-related services, including the configuration and deployment of PCs and mobile devices. The role is ideal for individuals with an interest in computer hardware, software, and mobile device technology, who are eager to grow their expertise in the technology field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and deploy PCs and mobile devices.
• Use and navigate Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and folder/file structures.
• Rename systems and administer mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
• Operate within Windows Mobile OS, Apple iOS, and Android OS environments.
• Utilize endpoint management solutions for effective IT support.
• Perform basic hardware troubleshooting and knowledge-based tasks.
• Record and track work processes, including asset tagging, scanning, and task completion tracking.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

• Operates in a professional office environment with standard office equipment.

• Includes occasional physical activity, such as moving and lifting items up to 30lbs regularly and up to 75lbs occasionally. Assistance is provided for heavier items.
• Tasks often involve repetitive bending, twisting, or motion-related activities.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; AA degree in an IT-related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a related field.
• Desired but not required: A+ Certification.
• Proficiency in Windows OS, mobile devices, and MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of Apple OSX and CMD line experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document and organize work.
